Venues

Tokyo is so busy that we cannot help but use 2 venues, both of which are around the Fuchu station (please see the map below):
  • On the first 2 days (June 3rd and 4th), at the WALD Hall, on the 5th floor of commercial complex "Le Signe", connected to the south exit of Fuchu station (Keio Line)
  • On the remaining 3 days (5, 6, 7th), at the Fuchu Forest Art Theatre, which is 20mins walk from Fuchu station or 10mins walk from Higashi-Fuchu station

Fuchu Forest Art Theater is 5 min from Higashi-Fuchu station or 20 min from Fuchu station on foot.

Travel

Shinjuku -> Fuchu (Le Signe)

By Keio Line (20min)
  • Take Kaio Line (semi-)special express bound for Keio-Hachioji or Takao-Sanguchi.

Shinjuku -> Higashi-Fuchu (Fuchu Forest Art Theater) June 5 - 7

By Keio Line (30min)
  • Take Kaio Line (semi-)special express to Chofu station.
  • Change at Chofu station to local or express bound for Keio-Hachioji, Takao-Sanguchi or Takahatafudo.

Airport

We have the following two airports in Tokyo:
  • Tokyo International Airport (Haneda, HND)
  • Narita International Airport (NRT)
Haneda is located more conveniently in the downtown Tokyo, but has fewer flights from abroad compared with Narita.

PASMO and SUICA (popular smart IC cards in Japan)

PASMO and SUICA are a rechargeable contactless smart card, electronic money system. With these cards, you can get on almost all public transports in Tokyo (and in some other areas of Japan). You can get either PASMO or SUICA with 500jpy deposit at every station and recharge them at all stations. They are compatible. The choice doesn’t matter. For details, please see the following websites of PASMO and SUICA:
